Travelers Haven Announces Partnership with Nomad Health

We at Travelers Haven are thrilled to announce we have teamed up with Nomad Health to help its travel nurses secure affordable, short-term housing. Nomad Health is the first cloud-based platform that directly connects doctors and nurses with contract clinical work in the United States and removes agency recruiters from the hiring process. Founded in 2015 by Dr. Alexi Nazem, CEO, and a team of doctors and technologists, the online marketplace streamlines the traditional processes and paperwork of backfilling freelance healthcare assignments. This saves both independent practitioners and hospitals valuable time and money.

“Our approach is to cut out the broker and allow for direct, transparent interaction between healthcare professionals and hospitals,” says Dr. Nazem. “Nomad is bringing the gig economy to health care.”

Now these nurses can access additional savings and consolidated management for their housing through Travelers Haven.

Our platform is designed for businesses and their affiliates to find quality, diverse housing options with added support. This can include the coordination of utilities, furniture, lease paperwork, and more. As a stipend or independent traveler, nurses can use Travelers Haven’s free, on-demand, self-serve functionality to find temporary housing that meets their needs on their own, from rural and urban areas to pet-friendly units. Every step of the process, from service tickets to move-out paperwork, is done through the platform. Notably, Travelers Haven has a decade of expertise working in the healthcare industry and knows the specific challenges freelance nurses face to better cater to their needs.

Both companies use industry-leading technology to modernize outdated systems and processes and improve the user experience. Together, we hope to make each travel nurse’s relocation experience as seamless as possible.
