A Space Designed with the Staff in Mind
One thing that drives a company is constant growth. At Travelers Haven, that is no exception. Which is why we’re thrilled to announce that we’ve recently moved into our new office at the Cherry Tower in Glendale.
“Grow or Die,” one of the core values of the company is eminent in this new space. The 16,000 square foot space doubles the size of its previous office, comfortably housing 135 team members with plenty of room to grow.
“Our new headquarters represents another significant milestone for Travelers Haven. It will enable the company to grow to the next level and become the most-loved and largest corporate housing company in the US,” said Elia Wallen, CEO, and founder of Travelers Haven. “The new space was designed with our employees in mind. We wanted to create a unique, collaborative environment that employees truly enjoy. We wanted to give everyone space where there they could feel at home with expansive views of the Front Range from Pikes Peak to Longs Peak.”

The Space Itself
The open floor plan in the new space encourages collaboration between teams, while still offering plenty of quiet spaces for private meetings to transpire as well.
A healthy employee is a happy employee isn’t just a saying; it rings true. The enhancements of the new location bring forth the importance of health. With perks like standing desks, a park located just across the street, and plenty of natural light. These benefits help increase overall productivity.
According to a 2016 study put on by Texas A&M University’s Health Science Center School of Public Health, those with stand-capable desks saw their productivity and success increase by 23% within the first month, then after six months that increased by 53%.
Having the ease of taking a walk at Infinity Park during a lunch break can improve overall wellbeing. A study from 2015 shows that workers who walked for 30 minutes on their break came back with increased enthusiasm and a sense of relaxation.

The advantages of natural light within an office setting goes far past, just increasing productivity. Access to natural light increases Vitamin D within the body to help aid in fighting depression, diabetes, and chronic pain — overall decreasing the amount of sick days company-wide.
Let’s hear from some of the staff that experienced the change first hand:
Digital Marketing Manager, Jill Mahoney says, “They both have amazing views, but being able to see the entire Front Range adds a sense of freedom. The wide-open spaces make the new HQ feel collaborative and provide new opportunities to run into people that were isolated in offices before. It feels like a big, happy family living, working, and eating together.”

Erin Budyak, Senior Accounting Manager, adds, “With so much growth over the last year, we were completely maxed out in our former space. Access to huddle rooms and common areas for group meetings in the new space is ideal for working together more efficiently. ” She continues,
“The new space further encompasses our work hard play hard mentality by adding more ways to de-stress with the sports simulator and ping pong table.”

Keeping with the ‘work hard, play hard’ lifestyle the new office features beers and cider on tap and various games around the office. Team members can also stay caffeinated with several coffee stations and a full coffee bar.
